Villa Panorama

SAY ABOUT US

SAN FRANCISCO

«A gem makes a vacation heavenly!»
It's a beautiful villa with huge yard surrounded by vineyard and olive grove with a panoramic view of the towns and valleys. The house is big enough to accommodate our family of 3 sub-families with 5 granddaughters including 2 toddlers. The kids had ample space to run around both inside and outside. The location of the villa is ideal with easy access to highways, within an hour driving to most hilltop towns and major attractions. Chef Paola is amazing! She had inquired our special diet needs and endeavored to delight us all with 3 versions of dishes each dinner: regular, vegetarian, and glutton-free. Each one was most delicious homemade Italian! Silvia is the most responsive manager, together with her father Franco they were as helpful as anyone could hope for! Nothing beats the feeling of touring all day and come home to see dinning table beautifully set and dinner being served freshly course by course! Not only did we have a fabulous family vacation there, we so connected with the owner family! They are genuine, warmhearted, and always ready to help, truly good people indeed!

What a Fantastic fortnight! The Villa Has been beyond all expectations and Tuscany more beautiful than we imagined. Franco, Paola and Silvia have been perfect hosts Franco's wine, it's great and very good value! We went to many different places during our holiday: Pienza, Montalcino, Abbazia di Sant'Antimo, Siena, Montepulciano, Cortona, Arezzo (the Giostra del Saracino was a Wonderful crazy, the antique market wonderful), Florence, Rome, Sinalunga Market on Tuesday (meat, fish, fruit, vegetables, clothes etc, very good and the small old town is lovely), Lucignano very close to Sinalunga and very pretty. We never really in the evening as the relax was so beautiful and relaxing. Had planned to visit more places, but the Villa was so lovely, we wonted to stay and enjoy it. We had a lovelly evening in towards the end of our holiday when we had a meal cooked for us by Paola, lovelly food. We would very much like to return again in the future.

A fantastic week at Villa Panorama, in a fabulous situation. Reccomend: Castle at Montalcino our children really enjoyed it, fabulous view (45 mins drive), Garden Visit to La Foce Villa, near Chianciano Terme, (30 mins drive) interesting history spectacular gardens and panorama of Val d'Orcia , Pienza (30 mins), Cortona (30 mins) Assisi (1 hour 10 mins), Trequanda (very small but quite and good for gelato! - ten mins), Montelpuciano (25 mins) all really enjoyable also. Nothing prepared us for the "wow factor" of this place! Very Central location, very well equipped, had everything we needed, great hosts and lovely meal from Paola to celebrate a "big birthday". We will definitly return!

A wonderful time was had by all and a part from one tumutous thunderstorm the weather was spectacular. The Villa met all our needs, especially the pool and ping-pong table for the kids. The location is wonderful, peaceful and an authentic Tuscan experience. We have had "culture overland", having visited Montepulciano, Pienza, Siena, Arezzo, Montalcino, Florence, Pisa and San Gimignano. Advice: don't go to Florence it if you want to visit the Uffizi and Duomo, if you have not booked. If you like wine, then vineyardtours and tastings around Montalcino are a must, the Brunello red's are some of the best in Italy. If you like steak and want to try the Fiorentina, the go to Montepulciano and go to Osteria Acquacheta, but make sure you book beforehand. It is small and you all sit togheter on long benches, but the food is spectacular. Paola and Franco were extremely friendly an helpful. The antipasti spread they laid out for us when we arrived was a nice welcome experience.

We look for a family week every year and we decided for Tuscas this year and it has been a wonderful choice. We have enjoyed the house, visits around Siena Province, art, meal, nice wine and so many things that Tuscany offers. To thanks Paola and Franco and we said in Catalan "Fins aviat" (See you soon). All week the sun has shone, we've swam, eater good food, visited amazing places. Siena, Montepulciano, Montalcino, Pienza, Montichiello. All wonderful places, great sights, great coffe, great wine. For food we really enjoyed pizza at Cirifò Restaurant and Casero. But head as well for Restaurant "La porta" a Montichiello. Some of the very best food in the world! Wonderful wine is everywhere, but we really enjoyed tasting and buying at La Fortezza in Montalcino. Now to Villa Panorama, it reallydoes have everything! Cooling the hot days with wonderful views and a really well equipped kitchen. Although it sounds as if we've eaten out all the time, we didn't! cooking and eating at the Villa has been wonderful too. Paola and Franco have been stars, as someone wrote earlier in this book.

Grazie Mille Paola e Franco! We have had a wonderful time at Villa Panorama. It was a beautiful place to spend my birthday and "la torta della nonna" was one of the best cakes we all agreed we had even eaten. We went to some lovely places, Montepulciano, Trequanda, the weekly Market in Sinalunga, Florence and Ponte Vecchio, Montalcino, the Duomo in Siena is my favorite church in Italy.

Your Villa has a perfect location for exploring small villages and cities of Toscana. We visited Arezzo, Cortona, Pienza, Montepulciano, Bagno Vignoni, and Val d'Orcia. All there place are different but they all are lovely and charming.

Bamford & Silvestri Family

Dear Franco and Paola, We have had three generations with us on this holiday and the house has been great, especcialy with the amount of space. The pool has been the main focus point of this holiday, spending most afternoons either in the pool or lounging around. The tennis table has been a great part of our holiday-challenging other members of the family to games. We have been able to create our family Olimipcs using the pool for waterpolo and swimming, and using the surrounding garden for badminton and boules. We had a wonderful meal cooked by our hosts Franco and Paola, highly reccomended! We would also reccomend the restaurant in Sinalunga Forcillo Restaurant. We have had a few trips out: Siena, Arezzo, the Abbey of Monte Oliveto are all worth visiting and whitin 1 hour drive. Trequanda was lovely for an evening aperitif! There 's a lot we didn't have time to see in te 10 days we werw here and we look forward to reining to tick off other attractions. We hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!
